AppSurfer uses Ruby On Rails as the primary web framework. It handles a lot of complex tasks, which are not generally encountered by web apps. It manages the AppSurfer systems software, with custom allocation and load balancing engines. It serves and manages AppSurfer clients for multitudes of platforms. It also handles various algorithms for Search and ranking of Apps.

The required skillset is -

• Passionate about writing code and writing it well.
• Passionate about products and product design & development.
• Good understanding of the web technologies, familiarity with ideas like REST, APIs, Caching, Web Sockets.
• Have a good know how about front end technologies like - HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, client side MVC.
• Open source contributions is great plus.

The required skillset is -

• Passionate about writing code and writing it well.
• Passionate about products and product design & development.
• Expertise with building web applications.
• At least 2 year experience with Rails development or with any other Ruby web frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Ruby as well as Rails framework.
• Familiarity with node js, ember js, haml, scss.
• If you have open source contributions, it is great plus.

• Deep understanding of OOP concepts.
• Hands on experience with Java, Android.
• Excellent knowledge of the Android SDK.
• Knowledge of XML and JSON.
• Knowledge of SqlLite and a working experience in SQL databases.
• Coding standards, organizational programming skills and good commenting practices is important.
• Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and problem solving skills.
